  • What type of exhibition is Posidonia?

    Posidonia is an International Shipping Exhibition, with participating companies from all sectors of the shipping industry.
     

  • Where and when is it being held?

    The Posidonia 2024 Exhibition is being held from 3-7 June 2024 at the Metropolitan Expo, which is located in the Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” complex. The exact address is:

  • When is the exhibition open?

    Posidonia 2024 is open from 3-7 June 2024 for trade visitors.

  • How can I attend the Seminars/Press conferences?

    The organisers of each Conference/Seminar/Press Conference are responsible for invitations to their event; therefore please contact directly the organiser(s) of the event(s) that you want to attend. Contact information is available here.

    Please note that in order to gain access to the Seminar rooms you must have registered as a Posidonia visitor to be able to enter the exhibition venue. This must be done in addition to your Conference/Seminar registration. Registration form is available here.

  • Is there an entry fee? How will I get my badge?

    Entrance is free of charge but all visitors must register online and have the appropriate visitor’s ticket with them. Visitor Registration is open in early 2024. To prepare your visitor’s badge, please click here

    You will be given a plastic badge holder onsite. It is a condition of entry that you wear your badge where it can be easily seen at all times whilst on the exhibition floor.

    Please check covid-19 regulations that apply, before your arrival to the exhibition centre.

  • Are children permitted to visit the exhibition?

    Children under 16 years old are NOT admitted unless accompanied by a parent or responsible adult and must remain with their guardian during their visit in the exhibition.

  • Lost property?

    Lost property should be reported to the venue security guards. Likewise, should you find any lost property please deliver to the security guards located within the exhibition halls or at the Organisers’ office – Registration Area (Entrance 1 area).

  • Is there a shuttle bus service?

    Shuttle bus service to the exhibition centre is provided by the Organisers. The programme will be available closer to the exhibition dates online and on the Posidonia Mobile Application, available for free download on Google Play and App store.

  • Is parking available and what is the cost?

    A parking area covering 100,000 sqm is available and parking is free of charge.

  • Who can participate in the Posidonia Cup?

    Members of the International Maritime Community, who are in Greece for Posidonia and participants of the Posidonia Exhibition, are eligible to enter the event. The Organising Committee will be the sole judge of the eligibility of the entrants. The organisers may arrange for a spectator boat to enable invited guests and journalists to watch the race. This will be announced closer to the date of the race and attendance will be by invitation only.

  • Can I attend or participate in the Shipsoccer tournament?

    Members of the International Maritime Community, who are in Greece for Posidonia and participants of the Posidonia Exhibition, are eligible to enter the event. The Organising Committee will be the sole judge of the eligibility of the entrants. Spectators are allowed into the venue to watch the Shipsoccer Tournament. The entry for spectators is free of charge. Spectators are kindly asked to pay attention to the signage outside the venue, so that they enter through the correct gate and are guided to the area reserved for spectators of the Shipsoccer Tournament. Spectators are not allowed to enter the playing field or the teams’ changing rooms.

  • Can I participate in the Posidonia Running Event?

    Members of the International Maritime Community, who are in Greece for Posidonia and participants of the Posidonia Exhibition, are eligible to enter the event. Also the Posidonia Running Event is open to the public.

  • Who can participate in the Posidonia Golf Tournament?

  • Who can participate in the Posidonia Basketball Tournament?

    Registration for the Posidonia Basketball Tournament is open to members of the international maritime community and Posidonia participants. The Posidonia Basketball Tournament is a 3on3 event.

    The Organising Committee will be the sole judge of the eligibility of the entrants.
