The Propeller Club, Port of Piraeus, established in 1935, is a non-profit charitable association and one of the oldest maritime institutions in Greece. It is also the largest and most active Propeller Club in the world.

Its core objectives are the promotion and support of global merchant shipping, the strengthening of Greek-American relations, and the enhancement of cooperation between Greece, the United States, and other maritime nations. The Club also carries out extensive social and educational work, offering donations and scholarships to students distinguished at Greek and American universities.

In 2025, the Port of Piraeus chapter proudly celebrated its 90th anniversary. Its first President was Alphonse Sasseville, while the first Greek President, elected in 1988, was Costas Papagiannakopoulos.
