Japan Ship Exporters' Association was founded to promote the export of ships and ship machinery according to the Japanese Export and Import Trade Law on 13 December 1954.
We established the 'Japan Ship Centre' in London with a grant from the The Nippon Foundation as joint facility with JETRO on June 1965.

The Japan Ship Machinery & Equipment Association (JSMEA) is a nonprofit organization composed of enterprises engaged in the manufacture, repair, and sale of marine propulsion engines and various auxiliary ship machinery, such as pumps, air compressors, oil purifiers, heat exchangers, cargo and mooring winches, anchor windlasses, deck cranes, steering gears, navigational aids, fittings, and accessories.

As of October 2025, JSMEA comprises 257 regular corporate members and 83 supporting member organizations.
For this exhibition, JSMEA will participate by forming the Japan Pavilion together with the Japan Ship Exporters’ Association (JSEA).

The Company, with an area of over 250,000㎡ and fixed assets of 600 million Yuan, possesses more than 450 sets of domestic and foreign advanced processing equipment and have 500 employees among which including 160 technical personnel in various specialties. 
The company is mainly engaged in R&D of ships’ ballast water management systems, sewage treatment plants, oily water separators, intermediate shaft bearings, hydraulic bolts, nuts and couplings, pressure water tanks, calorifiers and other products as well as complete package supply of shafting and steering. We have established the world’s largest and technically advanced ship’s ballast water treatment testing center.
