Cyprus Maritime Academy (CyMA), established in 2015 and operational since 2016, is a maritime education institution in Cyprus operating in collaboration with Intercollege under the auspices of the University of Nicosia. CyMA delivers internationally aligned academic and professional programs for the development of competent Deck and Engine Officers for the global merchant shipping industry. As the only maritime academy in Cyprus offering both a recognized Bachelor’s Degree and a Certificate of Competence issued by Intercollege and the Shipping Deputy Ministry of the Republic of Cyprus, CyMA combines academic excellence with practical training. All programs comply with IMO and STCW standards, ensuring international recognition. CyMA collaborates closely with shipping companies to support talent development and sustainable growth across the maritime sector.
