Besiktas Shipyard was established in 2007 in Yalova, Turkey as an investment of Besiktas Group. Occupying 213,000 sqm total area with 57,000 sqm of enclosed workshops, we handle an average of 150 ships annually and serve up to 15 vessels simultaneously — making us one of Europe's most active ship repair yards.

Equipped with two mega floating docks and one graving dock, we accommodate VLCC and Suezmax tankers, Capesize and Newcastlemax bulkers, Q-Max LNG carriers, container ships up to 15,000 TEU, and FSRU/FPSO units.

Black Rope is a one-stop shop mooring partner. In our factory we manufacture our own line of mooring ropes and wires, which we globally supply to the shipping industry among other equipment such as deck fittings, anchors & chains. Our team of experts offers consultancy, inspection and training services, channeling their collective knowledge to our software development department which has designed our digital mooring management tool, SAFELINE.
