Hydwin Robotics is showcasing its integrated surface preparation portfolio at Posidonia 2026, with equipment ranging from UHP pump systems and hull coating removal vehicles to automated coating platforms. Designed for modern drydock operations, the portfolio helps shipyards, shipowners, and maintenance contractors improve productivity, operational safety, coating quality, and environmental performance.
The Treatment Carrier portfolio brings together semi-automatic coating removal, UHP waterjetting power of up to 3,000 bar, and automated coating application. It also includes the world's first field-applied automated coating platform for drydock coating operations, delivering coating efficiency of up to 1,500 m²/h while helping reduce manual intervention and improve process consistency, quality, and control.
Safety, compliance, and environmental performance remain central to Hydwin Robotics’ approach. The Treatment Carrier Series has been independently certified by TÜV SÜD and complies with applicable European Union safety and regulatory requirements, including CE standards. By integrating UHP waterjetting, robotic automation, wastewater recovery, waste containment, intelligent navigation, and adaptive real-time process control, Hydwin Robotics provides a cleaner and more controlled alternative to traditional methods, helping shipyards reduce dust, waste, worker exposure, and operational risk while improving consistency and efficiency.
“Shipyards and maintenance contractors are under increasing pressure to improve productivity, reduce risk, and meet sustainability goals,” said Andy Lu, Global Business Director of Hydwin Robotics. “By integrating coating removal, hydroblasting, and automated coating application into a single workflow, Hydwin Robotics is helping customers achieve more efficient and predictable maintenance outcomes.” The Treatment Carrier Series has accumulated more than 8,000 hours of fault-free field operation, supported by over 200 coating removal vehicles and more than 500 UHP pump units delivered worldwide, together with comprehensive operational and after-sales support.
Visitors attending Posidonia 2026 can meet the Hydwin Robotics team at Outdoor Space 1/2, located near the Lobby 1 entrance, to explore its Treatment Carrier portfolio and discuss how robotic surface preparation can support their next drydock project.
