VOICE OF GREECE for the first time at the exhibition POSIDONIA 2024.

The World Maritime Exhibition meets ERT World Radio, which will broadcast directly from a specially designed radio studio at the Metropolitan Expo with the award-winning show "GOOD SEAS" by Antonis Karagiannakis.

Interviews, presentations, greetings, messages from exhibitors, operators, visitors, from people from shipping and the sea will be broadcast from Monday 3rd to Thursday 6th June, at 4-6pm and on Friday 7th June, 2-4pm Greek time.

The radio studio of THE VOICE OF GREECE - ERT will be at HALL #2 in the back area of the exhibition

The show "GOOD SEAS" is edited and presented by the journalist, radio producer and former radio officer Antonis Karagiannakis, who has exppirienced the life on board - ships,  knows the sea, the life of our sailors on ships, the shipping industry etc

A FEW WORDS ABOUT THE SHOW "GOOD SEAS"

The award-winning show "GOOD SEAS" from the "Voice of Greece" on the Hellenic Radio - ERT has main idea and topic idea the sea, with stories, memories, emotionws of the life in the ships (vessels), in the  shipping industry  with guest Greek sailors, accompanying them on their journeys in the seas of the world.

In the show we talk about their life and everyday life at sea, about their feelings, thoughts, experiences, concerns, stories, adventures, anxieties, experiences about their life at sea, with advises for young people. The guests talk about their favorites places-ports, the peoples and cultures they encountered. They also talk about the role of women in shipping and their position today, who staff ship crews and key positions in shipping companies and offices. We also talk about the particular homeland of each guest, the particularity of the place, the relationship with the sea and why they chose this job and profession.

Stories and testimonies of sailors with live connections to the Greek ships that travel the seas of the world, with fishermen, lighthouse keepers, retired sailors, shipwrights, shipowners, people and  staff working in shipping offices and companies. We talk with academics, scientists, historians, with business executives  who are around the sea and in all professions related to Greek commercial shipping, with agencies, Federations, etc.
 

Tune in Monday to Thursday and every Saturday at 8:00 and repeat at 20:00 on the Voice of Greece
