ICDAS is proud to carry on a flawless family tradition that started with ship repair in Istanbul in the 1880s.

With ICDAS's acquisition of Biga Shipyard in 1996, the shipbuilding business entered a new era. Located next to the integrated steel plant complex in Canakkale, this facility has significantly expanded shipbuilding activities. The ship repair shop in the early 1900s became a rural planning integrated facility after a shipyard was purchased in Biga-Canakkale Province in 1995. It produces steel and alloy steel and is the 2nd largest steel producer in Turkey with its production capacity.

ICDAS also has one of the largest dry docks in the region and the largest dry dock in Turkey, with a length of 370 meters, a width of 70 meters and a depth of 10 meters, and it can also repair and maintain ships of 300 meters in length.
