CLASSIFICATION

CRS is also a recognized classification society by the European Parliament and the European Council as regards common rules and standards for ship inspection and survey organizations.

The CROE® scrubbing Systems can be designed to reduce SO2, PM2.5 and Black Carbon emissions when burning high sulfur heavy fuel. These can easily and reliably meet the 0.1%S and 0.5%S regulations. The CROE Scrubbing Systems are also used to condition the exhaust gas for future CO2 reduction. The CROE Scrubbing Systems have a low CO2 footprint and are designed to be lighter, smaller, more efficient and more cost effective than most competing scrubbing systems. They require low back-pressure, can replace silencers and can be installed with or without a bypass without concerns due to their special run-dry design and construction. The CROE systems are available in Open Loop, Closed Loop or Hybrid designs and can be Upflow, U-Tube or Side Entry configurations. A complete washwater treatment system is also provided as part of the Closed Loop and Hybrid designs.
