Gastrade S.A. is the promoter of the Alexandroupolis offshore LNG Terminal in Northern Greece. The project comprises an offshore floating, storage and regasification unit (FSRU) for the reception, temporary storage and regasification of LNG, a spread mooring system and a system of a HP subsea and onshore gas transmission pipelines, through which natural gas will be delivered to the Greek Transmission System and onwards to the final consumers. The project is included and financed by the Operational Programme “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation 2014-2020”. The project is fully licensed, the company’s investors have adopted the Final Investment Decision and the Commercial Operation Date is planned for December 2023.
